Scope of Work
This Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS) covers the safe execution of gas engineering activities, including but not limited to:
- Installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of domestic and commercial gas appliances (e.g., boilers, cookers, fires, water heaters).
- Installation, modification, and testing of gas pipework systems.
- Flue system inspection, installation, and testing.
- Conducting gas safety checks and issuing relevant certification (e.g., Landlord Gas Safety Records).
- Diagnosis and rectification of gas appliance faults.
- Working in various environments, including domestic properties, commercial premises, and plant rooms.
All work will be carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers in strict accordance with the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and other relevant statutory provisions. Operatives will ensure that all work is planned, managed, and monitored in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) where applicable.
